The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Thursday, received the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States, Uzoma Emenike and her husband, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Abia State, Ikechi Emenike, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
After the closed-door meeting, Buhari endorsed Emenike’s governorship candidacy.
Also, Buhari received in the audience, the APC governorship candidate for Bauchi State, former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (retd.).
Abubakar arrived at the State House on Thursday in the company of the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu.
The meeting was held behind closed doors and Sadique declined any comments afterwards.
